Cooperation with Ministry of Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan to improve textbooks
The Ministry of Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan has signed a long-term cooperation agreement with Alston Publishing House to exchange experiences and improve the subject curricula for natural sciences. Together with the Institute of Education, we will update content standards on natural sciences and prepare new textbooks to support teaching and learning. Alston Publishing House will be working with specialists from Azerbaijan to enhance curricula for Grades 1 to 5 and include competencies that are essential for the 21st centuries.

Panellist for Azerbaijan’s Ministry of Education Discussion on Textbooks
Mr Sim Wee Chee, Managing Director of Alston Publishing House, is honoured to be invited as a panelist for an online discussion held by the Institute of Education, supported by the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan. The online discussion aims to share Singapore’s education achievements and the importance of textbooks to an education system. Mr Sim will be speaking on the role of school textbooks in Singapore's educational outcomes, the impact of modernised textbooks on the quality of education.
